Who will be there?

* Those who have been born again (John 3:3)


John 3:3

3 Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God. AMP


* Those who faithfully looked forward to Christ before his birth (Hebrews 11:10,16)


Hebrews 11:10

10 For he was [waiting expectantly and confidently] looking forward to the city which has fixed and firm foundations, whose Architect and Builder is God. AMP

Hebrews 11:16

16 But the truth is that they were yearning for and aspiring to a better and more desirable country, that is, a heavenly [one]. For that reason God is not ashamed to be called their God [even to be surnamed their God � the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob], for He has prepared a city for them. [Exodus 3:6,15; 4:5.] AMP


* The elect angels (Daniel 7:10; 1 Timothy 5:21; Heb.12:22; Revelation 5:11)


Daniel 7:10

10 A stream of fire came forth from before Him; a thousand thousands ministered to Him and ten thousand times ten thousand rose up and stood before Him; the Judge was seated [the court was in session] and the books were opened. AMP

What will they experience?

* Holiness (Revelation 21:27)

2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth. AMP


* Unity (Ephesians 1:10)

10[He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth. AMP


* Perfection (1 Corinthians 13:10)

10 But when the complete and perfect (total) comes, the incomplete and imperfect will vanish away (become antiquated, void, and superseded). AMP


* Joy (Psalms 16:11)

* No tears (Revelation 7:17; 21:4)

* No sickness or pain (Revelation 21:4; 22:2)


Revelation 21:4

4 He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever." NLT

Revelation 22:2


2 Through the middle of the broadway of the city; also, on either side of the river was the tree of life with its twelve varieties of fruit, yielding each month its fresh crop; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing and the restoration of the nations. [Genesis 2:9.] AMP


* No death (Isaiah 25:8; 1 Corinthians 15:26; Revelation 21:4)

8 He will swallow up death [in victory; He will abolish death forever]. And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; and the reproach of His people He will take away from off all the earth; for the Lord has spoken it. [1 Corinthians 15:26,54; 2 Timothy 1:10.] AMP

Revelation 21:4

* No need for sun or moon (Revelation 21:23)


Revelation 21:23

23 And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon to give light to it, for the splendor and radiance (glory) of God illuminate it, and the Lamb is its lamp. [Isaiah 24:23; 60:1,19.] AMP


* No night (Revelation 21:25; 22:5)


Revelation 21:25

25 And its gates shall never be closed by day, and there shall be no night there. [Isaiah 60:11.] AMP

Revelation 22:5

5 And there shall be no more night; they have no need for lamplight or sunlight, for the Lord God will illuminate them and be their light, and they shall reign [as kings] forever and ever (through the eternities of the eternities). AMP


How long will it last?

* Forever (Psalms 23:6; John 3:15; Revelation 22:5)
