It is the world who began to call us Christians...to MOCK at us...Acts 11:26 "And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch"... The Apostle Peter SEEMED to call us Christians too: 1 Peter 4:16 "Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf"

If the apostle Peter accepted the name Christian and used it for himself too, then it is contrary to Acts 11:26 above. In Acts 11:26 the word Christians was used by unbelievers to mock the followers of Christ. Would we think God would use a word which is being used by the world to put His saints down? "Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf". The world mock the saints by calling them Christians. This word Christian came from the world (Acts 11:26). I cant find any of the men and women of God who named THEMSELVES Christians in the Holy Scriptures. Can you? Yet the word saint and saints appears in the KJV about 98 times in the Old and New Testament!!! (proofs below)

I re-discovered this truth just one (1) week ago (I did this research in 2004) and wanted to share this truth from Gods Word with you. I am deciding to NOT call MYSELF a Christian ANYMORE because according to the Holy Scriptures, I am a saint of God, except the fact I must be careful with the Roman Catholics and folks with a Roman Catholic background because that would be perceived as very pompous to say the least because according to the Roman Catholic doctrine (which is false) only deceased people can be named that way and they are praying them because they think this person was very exceptional. (please talk to me while I am alive, not once I am dead! Because this is to pray the demons) I am a saint of God because I am obeying on a continual basis to the Lord Jesus Christ...even if I am not perfect yet... Ill be perfect only in Heaven.
